Donald Trump will be formally sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and return to the White House at 10:30 PM Beijing time on January 20, 2025. The inauguration ceremony will include a formal swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and a series of formal balls. Musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM EST (10:30 PM Beijing time on the 20th) on the main stage at the West Lawn of the US Capitol Building. Following this, Trump and Pence will hold a swearing-in ceremony, and the President will deliver his inaugural address, outlining his goals for the next four years. Afterwards, Trump will proceed to the President's office near the Senate to sign important documents and attend a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Inaugural Committee. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls – the Commanders Ball, the Liberty Inaugural Ball, and the Stars and Stripes Ball – and is expected to give speeches at all three occasions.
