Donald Trump will be officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at 10:30 PM Beijing Time on January 20, 2025, and return to the White House. The inauguration ceremony will include the official swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and a series of formal balls. Musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM EST (10:30 PM Beijing Time on the 20th) on the main event stage at the West Lawn of the United States Capitol Building. Following this, Trump and Vance will hold their inauguration ceremony, and the President will also deliver his inaugural address outlining his goals for the next four years. Afterwards, Trump will head to the Presidential Office near the Senate to sign important documents, and attend a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Inaugural Committee. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls – the Commander-in-Chief's Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Stars and Stripes Ball, and is expected to deliver speeches at all three events.
