In the golden autumn of October, ETHShanghai 2025 will be grandly held in Shanghai from October 18 to 22, 2025. This conference, themed "Expanding Ethereum, Shaping an Open Future," is led by the Chinese-speaking builder community ETHPanda, in collaboration with Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, PANews, and TinTinLand, to jointly explore the future territory of the Ethereum ecosystem.
The entire event centers around a five-day hackathon and summit, gathering the most active developers and researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to bring ideas from code to user practice. Here, participants will not only see innovative results but also hear the most cutting-edge voices in the industry, experiencing the infinite possibilities of Ethereum's next decade.
72-Hour Hackathon, Inspiring Creativity for Ethereum's Next Decade

The first day will kick off with participant check-in and an opening ceremony, followed by live coding sessions to start the journey of innovation; from October 19 to 20, multiple keynote speeches will be arranged, featuring industry leaders from Chainlink, Nora, Bitseek, ETHPanda, HashKey Chain, and Vyper, sharing cutting-edge technologies and practical experiences covering topics such as decentralized AI, D/Acc super individuals, tokenization and on-chain assets, smart contract development, and modular design; on October 21, there will be project submissions, demo presentations, and evaluation sessions, where teams will showcase their results on-site and receive professional reviews and potential investment opportunities.
Participating teams will rapidly implement their ideas around three cutting-edge tracks with support from live coding sprints, technical mentoring, and Mentor Office Hours:
AI × ETH: Following the Ethereum Foundation's establishment of the dAI team, exploring the integration of AI and Ethereum, including AI-driven on-chain agents, automated contracts, and governance mechanism innovations;
DeFi × Infra: Focusing on RWA and modular infrastructure construction, promoting the intelligence and security of decentralized finance;
Public Goods × Open Source Development: Encouraging the construction of ecological foundational tools and collaborative frameworks, strengthening the sustainable development of open finance and public infrastructure.
This 72-hour offline hackathon not only provides developers with practical opportunities to build Web3 projects from scratch but also serves as a platform for the convergence of global innovators' wisdom. This event is expected to select about 100 top developers from over 500 global applications, incubating 30 to 40 innovative projects on-site, with a total prize pool of up to $15,000. The champion teams from each track will have the opportunity to present their results on the main summit stage to top investment institutions.
