On February 18, 2025, the highly anticipated Solana Hong Kong Summit grandly opened. As an important event for the Solana ecosystem in Asia, this gathering attracted top industry developers, investment institutions, and representatives of ecosystem projects to explore and envision the development of the Solana ecosystem together. Jeff Ren, partner at OKX Ventures, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech.
Lily Liu, chair of the Solana Foundation, kicked off the summit. In her opening remarks, Lily reviewed the leap in the Solana Chinese market (MCM) from 2023 to the present. The Wallet layer will enhance and upgrade DeFi Earn, Solana Eco Hub, adding on-chain data analysis and ecosystem entry.
- Stablecoin Applications: New Opportunities for Solana On-chain Payments and DeFi
Stablecoins are one of the important use cases for blockchain technology, and Solana is an ideal environment for stablecoin applications. In 2025, both parties will focus on exploring the scalable application of stablecoins on the Solana chain, covering payments, DeFi, and more scenarios.
