As we prepare for the Alpha sale prioritized for the BitDoctor community, I want to take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary journey we have experienced over the past year and share our exciting plans for the future.
Growth and Milestones Over the Past Year
In the past 12 months, despite starting from scratch, the team's perseverance and the support of community members have led to significant progress.
During these 12 months, I participated in 72 AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions, hundreds of Web3 conferences, panel discussions, and interviews, sharing insights on topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks), DeSci (Decentralized Science), blockchain, and healthcare innovation. We also hosted six exclusive panel discussions, including key internal meetings with BitDoctor core members.
As a smaller team, with some help from the community, we proudly showcased our presence at multiple top-tier events, including Token2049 in Dubai and Singapore, DISummit2024 in Africa, DevCon in Thailand, VTIS in Vietnam, Taipei Blockchain Week, and Tainan Builder House. These events demonstrated our rapid growth and strong influence in the Web3 space. Soon after, we were mentioned multiple times by Messari, and we felt immense joy when community members shared this news with us, even without our knowledge.
Additionally, we participated in many sponsored and localized gatherings to connect with the community, including "Soft Landing into BKK" in Bangkok, "Genesis" at the Sunway Blockchain Club in Malaysia, "Casual Gathering for NEW to Web3" and "Future of Tech & Opportunity" in Kuala Lumpur, and "Web3 Integration Night" at Linkora in Malaysia.
Our leadership team was honored to be invited as keynote speakers at several important events, such as VTIS in Vietnam, Taipei Blockchain Week, and Tainan Builder House, where we shared BitDoctor's innovative contributions to decentralized healthcare.
Since our launch on Google Play 5.5 months ago and on iOS 4 months ago, we have attracted over 132,000 users, with daily active users reaching 70,000. We have helped over 32,000 users identify one or more non-communicable diseases (NCDs), raising their health awareness and potentially saving their lives. With recognition from Google and Apple, we are now launching a WebApp to drive mass adoption of our ecosystem.
We are proud to have secured third place in the "Blockchain For Good Alliance (BGA) Web3 Oscars community vote," highlighting the strong support from our community, for which we will always be grateful.
Soon after, thanks to several meetings with ev3 co-founder Salvador Gala, we were mentioned in the Messari 2024 DePIN Status Report (page 85) and highlighted in their DeSci post on the X platform. Recognition from these partners has further confirmed that my direction in the Web3 space is correct.
With over 40,000 people joining our waitlist and the growing global community of application users, we have demonstrated the undeniable demand for accessible and decentralized healthcare solutions, motivating me even more to continue my work.
Roadmap
We continue to achieve early disease detection by transforming existing smartphone CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) sensors into electronic PPG (Photoplethysmography) signal collectors. We are about to integrate the BitDoctor AI agent to provide borderless, highly personalized health analyses, recommendations, and potential treatment research.
Future plans include integrating DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and IoT (Internet of Things) to solidify BitDoctor's position as a leading decentralized health data infrastructure protocol, serving AI and bio researchers, pharmaceutical research, and clinical trials, ultimately advancing healthcare, reducing costs, and extending human lifespan.
Community-Prioritized Pre-Sale
The Alpha sale will be exclusively open to current application users, early supporters, and waitlist registrants, in collaboration with SwissBorg Alpha. This ensures that those who supported us from the beginning have priority access to this opportunity. Each participant will have the chance to subscribe to a small portion of the allocation to ensure fair distribution.
No VC Sell-Off—100% Community-Centric
This is a purely community sale, ensuring no risk capital (VC) sell-off dilutes the project's value. We believe that empowering those who trust us is key, and our goal is to create a sustainable ecosystem where every participant can benefit from BitDoctor's growth.
When I first entered the cryptocurrency market in 2013, it was a healthy and community-driven space advocating for decentralization. Then came the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) era, where early investors promoted their holdings and attracted new buyers in the secondary market, while projects returned this commitment through fair token valuations.
However, with the entry of financial giants, the market lost balance. Private placements and VCs bought tokens at extremely low prices and then sold them to the community during token generation events (TGE), leaving loyal investors with little to no profit.
The "fair launch" approach attempted to address this issue but did not fully succeed. Market makers and early buyers scooped up tokens at low prices and then sold them to later participants. What was the result? Most participants lost money in the so-called "fair launch," which was not fair at all.
We are committed to long-term growth rather than short-term profits. With a clear vision and a genuine product, we have laid a solid foundation from the very first step.
Therefore, we designed a sustainable and fair system that combines the wisdom of traditional stock markets with the flexibility of cryptocurrencies.
Here’s how we do it:
Low Valuation Launch: We will launch the token at a lower valuation compared to other similar projects.
Transparent Alpha Sale: No large buyers or sellers, conducted entirely on-chain.
Broader Participation: Token allocation will be split into smaller shares, allowing more community members to participate at each level.
To prevent exploitation by large entities or VCs, we utilize facial recognition technology to ensure fairness—because everyone has only one face, effectively eliminating Sybil attacks.
We believe in the power of decentralization and are committed to creating a system that benefits and values everyone.
