The argument is completely wrong.
1/ Globalization is inevitably beneficial to all of humanity as a whole; it is the superior solution. Otherwise, ask yourself, are we not today a series of isolated, minute economic entities?
2/ The reason globalization cannot be sustained is that its "foundation" is no longer viable. The foundation of past globalization was the hegemony of the United States, and now that U.S. hegemony is being challenged, maintaining globalization has become more costly than beneficial for the U.S.
3/ The future will inevitably move towards unity again, but it will not be the Yalta system led by the United States; rather, it will be a Chinese-style unified empire. This empire will take about a hundred years to establish.
The future may indeed be a mix of machines and humans. Why? Humans have too many issues and contribute very little productivity, while constantly causing trouble. Machines are much simpler; they only contribute productivity.
