AI agent framework ai16z developer Eliza Labs has announced the launch of auto.fun, a brand new no-code platform that allows users to deploy AI agents on Web3 applications.

According to an announcement on April 17, auto.fun enables non-developers to create, deploy, and monetize AI agents without any programming knowledge.

The platform supports the creation of AI agents that can interact with social media, decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, and other Web3 services.

Shaw Walters, founder of Eliza Labs and creator of the open-source project elizaOS, stated, "The vision of auto.fun is to make AI and Web3 technology more accessible by creating agents that can autonomously perform tasks on behalf of users."

Walters mentioned that these agents can automatically execute yield farming strategies, manage social media accounts, or trade on behalf of users. The platform currently primarily supports the X platform, with plans to expand into DeFi, gaming, and other application areas in the future.

Eliza Labs stated that auto.fun will allow users to create proactive AI systems that can respond to queries and perform tasks. Users can reportedly instruct their AI agents on how to allocate funds in DeFi through simple commands.

A spokesperson for Eliza Labs told Cointelegraph that the product focuses on accessibility and is equipped with user education features:

auto.fun also introduced a token issuance mechanism that Eliza Labs describes as "fairer than fair." The company employs a joint curve mechanism that "combines the advantages of fair issuance with the flexibility for the project team to secure up to 50% of tokens before listing."

The joint curve is an algorithmic pricing model based on smart contracts in DeFi that dynamically adjusts prices based on the circulating supply of tokens. When tokens are bought and sold, the joint curve automatically adjusts prices according to preset mathematical relationships, ensuring continuous liquidity without relying on traditional order books.

A spokesperson for Eliza Labs stated that traditional token issuance often leaves core teams resource-strapped and prone to token sell-offs. The hybrid joint curve method developed in collaboration with Raydium is said to provide "a more sustainable alternative."

This system allows project teams to reserve up to 50% of the supply, which is said to ensure "they have a substantial stake in the project and resources for post-launch development." The remaining tokens are sold through the joint curve, which should help limit the advantages of bot-driven purchases.

Walters also emphasized that auto.fun is open-source. This "ensures that users can accurately verify how their agents operate and how their data will be used."

Agents running on the platform include FightFi, a collection of competing social media agents that offer token access to premium features through specific agent tokens.

Other agents include Secret, which issues Solana (SOL) tokens, and Sigma Music Agent, which connects musicians and fans. The platform also features Astra agents, responsible for managing cross-chain payments between the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain, Solana, and the Bitcoin (BTC) Layer 2 Lightning Network.
