On May 22, Guayaquil witnessed the first-ever Bitcoin mining event in Ecuador — a historic day that brought together enthusiasts, experts, and entrepreneurs from the crypto ecosystem in one place. The initiative, led by renowned Ecuadorian TikToker @ranaestilosa_ and Colombian-Venezuelan entrepreneur Arley Lozano, known online as Vakano, marked a milestone by showcasing, for the first time, live and operational mining equipment on Ecuadorian soil. For four hours of full immersion, attendees learned everything from the basics to advanced mining strategies. The event began with a hands-on workshop led by La Rana Estilosa, who explained the fundamentals of mining and conducted a live demonstration of operational equipment.

The day concluded with an inspiring talk by Arley Lozano (Vakano) titled “From 2014 to the Future,” where he shared his journey as a cryptocurrency pioneer in Latin America. From early ventures like Panda Exchange, Xpay.cash, and Chivo Wallet in El Salvador to his latest innovations such as VakanoPaga.com, VATM ATMs, and the Bitcoin POS system.
