At cyber•Fund, our core argument is that the world is in the early stages of transitioning from manual, high-friction systems to a self-regulating, programmable, autonomous Agent Economy. We have previously proposed that this new economic system will be built on seven foundational layers, from computing power to discovery mechanisms. Today, we are very proud to announce our investment in Questflow—a company dedicated to building critical connective organizations between these layers, focusing on orchestration, finance, and trust protocols that enable agents to truly become economic participants.

Missing Layer in a Fragmented World

The current AI ecosystem is in a phase similar to the Cambrian explosion, with a surge of systems possessing specialized capabilities. We already have powerful foundational models (Layer 1) and tools that give them sensory and action capabilities, allowing them to interact with the world (Layer 2). However, they mostly operate independently. The immense potential of AI is constrained by a lack of coordination—there is currently no protocol that allows agents to collaborate on complex tasks, negotiate terms, and autonomously exchange value.

This is the missing link. To leap from standalone AI tools to a multi-agent economy, we need a universal infrastructure—a Agent Coordination Protocol akin to TCP/IP for internet computing.

Agent Orchestration, Finance, and Trust

Questflow is building a Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP) that encompasses three core functions:

Orchestration:
Questflow can coordinate complex multi-step workflows that require the participation of multiple specialized agents. This is not a simple API call chain found in most automation tools, but a powerful system capable of handling uncertainty, managing dependencies, and integrating multi-agent results, thereby automating high-value business problems that were previously difficult to solve.

Agent-native Financial Rails:
By equipping each agent with a wallet and supporting on-chain micropayments, Questflow allows agents to receive compensation for their work without permission. This unlocks incentive models for the entire ecosystem, transforming agents from mere tools into autonomous economic participants, creating a positive feedback loop: the creators of the best agents are rewarded for providing the most valuable capabilities. The success of Questflow will be measured by the GDP of the economy it fosters.

Agent Marketplace:
The protocol supports a bilateral marketplace. On one side are developers who can deploy and commercialize highly specialized agents—from deep market research bots to automated software engineers; on the other side are businesses and users who can access an ever-growing workforce of agents to solve critical problems at a cost and time far lower than traditional methods.

Why Questflow? Why Now?

Our confidence in Questflow stems from the founder's clear vision and the team's execution capability in building deep technological products. The platform's goal is not to create simple chatbots, but to empower developers to build and monetize truly complex agents—those capable of conducting detailed merger analyses or operating multi-channel marketing campaigns.
