Today is Fog City!
I took a different path to climb up, it took an hour, moving at a steady pace, just in time to capture the picture below.
I've been here many times, but seeing the bridge wrapped in thick fog for the first time, and then watching the fog slowly dissipate, still feels beautiful and brings a sense of comfort, even a feeling of enlightenment.
Walking ten thousand steps every day is not the goal, but rather the mindful experience during the process. As East mentions in "The Scarcity Brain," we need to explore uncertainties, seek novelty, and experience differences to maintain passion, creativity, and a peaceful, stable mindset.
So, in addition to exercise, if during those ten thousand steps I can notice new changes around me and pay attention to things I overlooked last time, it greatly benefits my attention, creativity, and overall well-being.
