TRON founder Justin Sun held formal talks with Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting focused on the global digital financial transformation trends, the construction of a regulatory framework for virtual assets, and the strategic layout of the TRON ecosystem in Central Asia, marking a substantial phase of cooperation between TRON and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of blockchain and artificial intelligence. This is TRON's first deployment in Central Asia.

President Japarov has directed the Kyrgyzstan National Committee for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technology to effectively promote cooperation between the two parties, ensuring that joint initiatives are implemented.

The President's Strategic Vision Aligns Closely with TRON's Core Advantages

During the talks, President Japarov pointed out that modern digital technology is creating a "New Digital Silk Road" — a global network connecting cooperation and financial freedom. He highly acknowledged TRON's technological leadership in the stablecoin infrastructure sector and clearly stated: "Our goal is to make Kyrgyzstan a regional center for virtual assets and Web3 technology in Central Asia."

In response, Justin Sun stated that TRON, with its high throughput, near-instant transaction finality, and extremely low on-chain fees, has become the core infrastructure for cross-border USD stablecoin settlements globally, naturally aligning with Kyrgyzstan's digital economy strategic direction. "President Japarov's forward-looking leadership has created a rare historical opportunity for Kyrgyzstan to lead in the digital age. TRON will support the transformation of this vision into reality with concrete and actionable projects," said Sun.

President Japarov also emphasized the establishment of the National Committee for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technology, which he personally leads, bringing together government agencies and internationally renowned industry experts.

"In less than a year, the committee has made significant progress, making a series of market-oriented decisions, covering the potential issuance of a national stablecoin, the testing of a central bank digital currency (CBDC), and the launch of pilot regulatory frameworks," said Japarov.

He pointed out that Kyrgyzstan's open policies have effectively attracted large technology companies and global experts, and Sun's visit is a strong testament to the international community's growing interest in the country.

"Our strategic goal is to establish Kyrgyzstan as a regional center for virtual assets and Web3 technology in Central Asia," said President Japarov. He also noted that the industry continues to expand, the number of licensed participants is steadily increasing, the regulatory system is improving, and infrastructure projects are accelerating.

Six Strategic Proposals to Empower Kyrgyzstan's Digital Transformation

During the talks, Justin Sun proposed six core strategic proposals for cooperation between TRON and Kyrgyzstan:

1. Support the construction of a regional digital economy center. Relying on Kyrgyzstan's promulgated "Virtual Asset Law" and high-tech park policy framework, fully assist the country in becoming a benchmark demonstration country in the field of AI and digital economy in Central Asia.

2. Expand the national stablecoin ecosystem KGST. Promote the large-scale deployment of Kyrgyzstan's national stablecoin KGST on the TRON network, leveraging TRON’s world-leading stablecoin settlement capability to enhance KGST's international circulation coverage and practical value.

3. Strategic financial technology investment. Jointly advance the construction of cryptocurrency exchanges and the development of digital banking services to strengthen the underlying infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan's fintech industry.

4. Joint research and development of sovereign large language models (LLM). Develop specialized support for a localized AI large model in Kyrgyz language, strengthen national digital sovereignty, and serve local governance, education, and industrial application scenarios.

5. AI-crypto integration innovation sandbox. Establish a joint experimental platform for AI and blockchain technology, and integrate the KGST payment function into the B.AI intelligent ecosystem, exploring new models of AI-driven digital economy.

6. Construction of green data center infrastructure. Utilize Kyrgyzstan's abundant hydropower resources to plan and build large-scale data centers powered by clean energy, providing sustainable computing support for regional digital infrastructure.

Building a Digital Future for Central Asia Together

Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress in digital economy legislation and regulatory system construction in recent years, with IT exports continuing to grow. The issuance of the KGST national stablecoin and the advancement of the central bank digital currency (CBDC) pilot project have both been progressing in an orderly manner. This strategic cooperation with TRON will further accelerate the country's integration into the global digital financial system.

President Japarov cited data from Chainalysis, indicating that Kyrgyzstan ranks 19th in the global cryptocurrency adoption index, leading Central Asia, which further highlights the urgent necessity of building a transparent and reliable regulatory environment.

President Japarov also revealed that the amendment to the "Virtual Asset Law" was passed earlier this year, and a new government agency responsible for regulation and licensing in this field will be designated soon.

TRON, as a leading public chain infrastructure globally, currently processes tens of millions of transactions daily, with the on-chain circulation scale of stablecoins ranking at the top globally. Justin Sun stated that Kyrgyzstan has a large population of highly educated young people, abundant renewable energy reserves, and an open and inclusive digital policy environment, providing unique strategic conditions to become a core node of the digital economy in Central Asia. TRON will leverage technology, resources, and a global network to work with Kyrgyzstan to turn this strategic potential into tangible economic dividends.

Justin Sun also explained the operational situation of the international cryptocurrency exchange Huobi HTX and the plan to apply for an operating license in Kyrgyzstan to President Japarov, expressing his willingness to support the initiatives proposed by President Japarov to enhance digital literacy and promote the popularization of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

Justin Sun stated that Kyrgyzstan's exploratory experience could provide beneficial references for neighboring countries and expressed confidence in the country's potential to become a strategic partner for TRON to expand its business in Central Asia and scale up services.
