PANews April 29 news, according to the Daily Mail, British online retailer ASOS co-founder Quentin Griffiths fell from the 17th floor apartment in Thailand on February 9, and nearly 4 million US dollars from his Bitcoin wallet was transferred out within days of his death. The 58-year-old Griffiths was previously under investigation by Thai police for suspected fraud of about £500,000 involving a company run by his 43-year-old ex-wife. He was convicted of fraud last October and sentenced to 18 months in prison, but reportedly appealed to remain free under Thai law. Two days before his death, he was scheduled to meet with his ex-wife's lawyer. His eldest son Joel reported the Bitcoin missing six weeks after his father's death, and Thai police are investigating. Griffiths' family discovered the missing funds in the crypto wallet while traveling to Thailand to handle his affairs, as only those with access to the wallet can transfer the funds.
