Duan Yongping responded that he would not reduce his holdings in Pop Mart and expected to hold them for a high probability within ten years. He revealed that some of the funds from the sold fruit (apples) have been reinvested in U.S. Treasuries and plans to sell puts on SpaceX, Tesla, Micron (MU), and Palantir to position for AI, while also planning to moderately increase his holdings in Google and Berkshire (BRK.B) and maintain his position in Nvidia.

On the 23rd, a user on a social media platform asked the well-known investor Duan Yongping, "Are you really going to reduce some of your Pop Mart position to buy Elon Musk's SPACE X?"
In response, Duan Yongping said, "I just started buying Pop Mart! I guess I probably won't sell in the next ten years. However, my fruit (apples) is already quite mature, and I just had some called away (the call options exercised) and bought T-bills (U.S. short-term government bonds). Although the current price is slightly lower than the price at which the call was exercised, I’m not very interested in buying at this level. A few days ago, I sold some puts on MU (Micron Technology), and in the coming days, I will sell some puts on SpaceX, Tesla, and also on PLTR (Palantir). AI cannot be ignored; I'm striving to understand it..."
He also stated, "I think I will also increase some Google holdings and, if possible, I would like to increase some BRK.B (Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares). I should maintain my NVDA (Nvidia) position, which means I will continue selling puts after they expire."

According to a disclosure by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 10, Duan Yongping has increased his holdings in Pop Mart again, with the number of shares rising from 91.2728 million shares to 102 million shares, and his shareholding percentage increasing from 6.85% to 7.65%.

Duan Yongping stated, "My basic understanding of Pop Mart is that it currently is a company with a market value of around 200 billion Hong Kong dollars, having earned 13 billion RMB in profit last year, with a successfully proven business model and excellent corporate culture. The average annual profit in the next 10 to 20 years is likely to be no lower than now."
He said, "I don't care how others see it; I also don't care about short-term profit fluctuations. I just strive to think about what it will be like in 10 or 20 years. My assumptions are entirely based on my own experiences and my understanding of this world, and I do not guarantee they are correct."
