The cryptocurrency asset data platform “Token Watch,” operated by Token Post, has launched the “Interactive Relationship Map” feature that allows users to easily visualize the structural connections between projects, investors, and key figures.

This newly added relationship map focuses on cryptocurrency asset projects listed in the Korean won market, visualizing how investors and key figures are connected. Users can not only view the investment backgrounds of individual projects but also explore other projects involving the same investors and the past and present affiliations of individuals on the same screen.

The current relationship map displays the top 30 investors ranked by their portfolio and the key figures verified in multiple projects. Users can directly search for projects, investors, or individuals, or filter by type to extract only the desired relationships.

The relationship lines are categorized as ▲ General Investment ▲ Lead Investment ▲ Current Affiliation ▲ Previous Affiliation. This categorization helps to confirm which investors are involved in specific projects, understand who leads the investment rounds, and identify the current or past affiliations of key figures with various organizations.

For instance, selecting a specific project will show the investors and associated individuals involved in that project. Conversely, focusing on an investor will reveal that investor's portfolio of projects listed in the Korean won and their co-investment relationships with other investors.

By clicking on a node and using the “View Centered on this Node” feature, users can retain only connections within two degrees centered on the selected object. Even in complex overall network displays, users can quickly focus on specific projects or investors, narrowing the core relationship scope. It also supports node dragging and screen zooming.

With this relationship map, Token Watch transcends a simple list of investors, allowing users to explore the funding and human networks within the cryptocurrency asset market in a multi-dimensional way.

This feature can be used to grasp information that was previously difficult to confirm relying solely on publicly disclosed investor logos, such as:

  • Co-investing Parties

  • Venture Capital Combinations with Frequent Co-Investments

  • Investor Overlaps Between Competing Projects

  • Key Figures Appearing Repeatedly Across Multiple Projects

This is especially useful for investors as a reference for confirming the background of projects of interest; for journalists and researchers as a tool for uncovering hidden connections between projects; and for industry professionals and business development personnel to view the connection paths between projects, investors, and key figures.

The investor and person data used in the relationship map is based on RootData, with some information (e.g., whether a project has responded) being based on records from the Token Post editorial office. To reduce erroneous connections for the same individual, associations are made only when the X account is identical or when both full names match.

The Token Watch relationship map requires no additional installation and can be used directly on the web, supporting interfaces in Korean and English.

Representatives from Token Post stated, “To understand cryptocurrency asset projects, it is not enough to look at prices and listing information; it is also essential to understand what funds and individuals are linked behind the projects. We will continue to optimize the relationship map to allow users to intuitively explore dispersed investment and individual information.”

Additionally, Token Watch stated that the information displayed in the relationship map may differ from the actual latest status due to different times of collection and confirmation, and all data is for reference only and does not constitute investment advice.
