أتقدّم بخالص التهنئة إلى جلالة ملك الدنمارك، ودولة رئيسة الوزراء، وحكومة وشعب الدنمارك الصديق، بمناسبة مراسم تولي دولة الدنمارك الصديقة الرئاسة الدورية لمجلس الاتحاد الأوروبي اليوم. وإذ نثق في أن الدنمارك ستضطلع بهذه المهمة بروح التعاون والمسؤولية، فإننا نتطلع إلى أن تُسهم رئاستها في تعزيز السلام والاستقرار والعدالة والنمو على مستوى القارة الأوروبية والعالم. كما نؤكد تطلعنا إلى التنسيق والتعاون مع الدنمارك خلال هذه الرئاسة لدفع مصالح قارتنا الإفريقية والدول النامية، وتعزيز الاستجابة الأوروبية لقضايا منطقتنا في الشرق الأوسط، بما يسهم في بناء شراكات عادلة وشاملة. I extend my sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King of Denmark, His Excellency the Prime Minister of Denmark, and the Government and people of the friendly Kingdom of Denmark on the occasion of Denmark’s assumption today of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. We are fully confident that Denmark will undertake this responsibility in a spirit of cooperation and accountability. We therefore look forward to its Presidency contributing to the promotion of peace, stability, justice, and growth across the European continent and the world at large. We also reaffirm our aspiration to coordinate and cooperate with Denmark during its Presidency to advance the interests of the African continent and developing countries, and to strengthen the European response to the issues of our region in the Middle East, in a manner that fosters equitable and inclusive partnerships.
