Russian official: US resumption of military supplies to Ukraine will not change frontline situation

According to Golden Finance, Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, stated that the resumption of missile supplies to Ukraine by the United States would be a step back, but it would not change the situation on the front lines. Slutsky said that if Trump really wants to make progress in mediating the situation in Ukraine, he should "show his fist" to the Ukrainian authorities instead of promising to impose secondary sanctions against Russia. He also stated that it is too early to talk about Russia's response at present, as it is necessary to first clarify what equipment the United States will provide to Ukraine.
