The fintech industry in Singapore rebounded in the first half of 2025, completing 90 transactions and attracting nearly $1.04 billion in investments. Compared to H1 2024, transaction value increased by approximately 87% year-on-year and grew by 28% compared to H2 2024. Investment activities were concentrated in the fields of payments, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Transactions in the payments sector spanned both early-stage and late-stage funding rounds, while investments in cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence were primarily focused on early-stage funding. Globally, total fintech investment in H1 2025 reached $44.7 billion across 2,216 transactions, a decline from $54.2 billion (2,376 transactions) in H2 2024.
