Link: https://tge.aztec.network/ The project itself doesn’t have any major flaws worth criticizing, except for the slightly slow pace. Their fundraising is solid, and the privacy sector is inherently promising. Especially now, with regulations becoming more refined, the demand for privacy is increasingly becoming a necessity. You might remember I shared some privacy projects a while back, like hush/privacypools. They’re pretty good too, but as applications, they’re too scattered and limited by the chains they belong to, which creates significant constraints. Aztec, on the other hand, is the first L2 to natively integrate privacy at the base layer. If I’m not mistaken, their team has pretty much built the entire modern privacy computing tech stack on their own. Plonk/Noir—a proof system and a self-developed zero-knowledge programming language—are now widely used by teams working on privacy. At least in this sector, they’re still very competitive. It’s just that the market is a bit bearish right now, and everyone’s keeping a tight grip on their wallets. Not sure how willing people will be to buy in after the actual TGE. Let’s just hope this IDO brings some profits
