#99% of advisors will continue to invest in cryptocurrencies#

A new report from Bitwise and VettaFi shows that 99% of financial advisors who already invest in crypto plan to maintain or increase their investments by 2025. The report, which surveyed 430 financial advisors with qualified responses, found that the surge in crypto prices in 2024 and increased regulatory clarity have sparked greater interest from both clients and advisors. In 2024, a record high of 96% of advisors answered client inquiries about crypto, up from 88% in 2023. Additionally, the proportion of advisors allocating crypto to client portfolios doubled year-over-year, rising from 11% in 2023 to 22% in 2024. Institutional investors and registered investment advisors were the most likely to allocate to crypto. The report also found that advisors who have not yet allocated to crypto are increasingly likely to do so, with 19% planning to invest in 2025, up from 8% last year.
