Donald Trump will be formally sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and return to the White House at 10:30 PM Beijing time on January 20, 2025. The inauguration ceremony will include a formal swearing-in ceremony, musical performances, a celebratory parade, and a series of formal balls. Musical performances and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 AM Eastern Time (10:30 PM Beijing Time on the 20th) on the main event stage at the West Lawn of the US Capitol. Afterwards, Trump and Vance will hold the swearing-in ceremony, and the President will also deliver an inaugural address outlining his goals for the next four years. Following that, Trump will proceed to the Presidential Office near the Senate to sign important documents and attend a lunch hosted by the Joint Congressional Inaugural Committee. Later that evening, Trump will attend three inaugural balls - the Commander-in-Chief Ball, the Freedom Inaugural Ball, and the Star-Spangled Ball - and is expected to make speeches at all three events.
