1) This is what DoJ weaponization/lawfare *ACTUALLY* looks like. 2) Trump and Bondi screwed up big here. This is a case of the dog that catches the car. Regardless of what case they are trying prove against Comey, it will be related to his investigations against Trump. That means, in court when Comey gets to defend himself, and jurors aren’t just seeing a bias DoJ pitch, they’ll actually litigate some of the authenticity of these investigations. So if Trump is claiming the investigation was fake, the government will open themselves (and Trump) up to cross discovery to help validate them. So in trying to prosecute his political enemies, there is a chance Trump ends up showing the world even more of his own guilt on other crimes.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
