Let’s keep talking about Mira @Mira_Network. Mira is absolutely a dark horse project in every sense—raised $9M, listed on all the top-tier exchanges, and its launch was peak FOMO. Plus, it’s pioneering a brand-new field: AI hallucination. ▰ The fundamental issue with AI: the reliability crisis We all know that AI-generated content often “looks right” but isn’t necessarily “actually right.” AI excels at producing linguistically reasonable but factually incorrect results—this is what’s known as AI hallucination. This leads to three major problems: - AI lacks a mechanism for “truth-seeking” - AI outputs are often unverifiable - AI requires constant human oversight and proofreading ▰ Using decentralized consensus to validate AI Mira @Mira_Network’s approach is to use decentralization, allowing multiple AI models to vote on the same question and reach a consensus. It’s like Francis Galton’s 1906 experiment where villagers guessed the weight of an ox—the individual guesses might be wrong, but the average of multiple independent judgments is often closest to the truth. In other words, Mira doesn’t rely on a single “model” but builds a network where AIs validate each other. This makes the Mira network a collective judgment of algorithms rather than relying on single-point trust. ▰ The massive data challenge of Mira’s validation network Mira’s architecture generates an enormous amount of data during operation. For example, Klok agents produce AI content and validation records at TB to PB scale. Mira needs a decentralized, high-performance, cost-effective, and encryption-proof storage infrastructure. And Irys @irys_xyz happens to meet all these requirements: ▶ All of Mira’s validation records, consensus results, and certificates are permanently stored on the Irys network. ▶ Irys replicates Mira’s data across global nodes. ▶ Irys uses a “cost-price model,” enabling Mira to sustainably store continuous data streams from TB to PB scale. What Mira is doing now and in the future is building a consensus layer and trust layer for AI.
