#Trump signs executive order#

Trump signed a series of executive orders covering multiple areas, including border security, trade, energy, inflation, and government efficiency. Among them, he declared a national energy emergency and signed a memo on inflation, instructing agencies to investigate trade deficits and unfair trade practices, and to assess U.S. relations with China and U.S. continental neighbors. He will also restart the "Remain in Mexico" policy, advance construction of the border wall, and take action to end birthright citizenship. Additionally, Trump will formally create a Department of Government Efficiency and instruct the Cabinet to combat record inflation. On border security, Trump will sign 11 border-related executive orders, including deploying troops to the border and declaring a national emergency at the border. He will also end catch-and-release and instruct all illegal entries to be stopped. It's worth noting that Trump did not immediately impose new tariffs, leading to a rise in non-U.S. currencies.
